In the autumn, when the fields are ploughed and all domestic animals are installed in their stables for the winter, I seat myself comfortably in my favourite armchair, light a candle and start working with the lambskins of the year
I sew gloves and baby slippers of lambskin and sometimes waistcoats of hand-woven fabric.
In the spring, before the calving and lambing season starts, I sew linen shirts for both men and women with hand sewn buttonholes and buttons in genuine horn.
