Sören Ohlsson

I started with wood turning in 1994 and produce domestic and decorative objects, as f ex bowls, plates, candle sticks and clocks. Almost everything I produce is made of Swedish wood sorts, mostly birch, juniper, elm, cherry wood, etc. I use mainly dry wood, but the bowls with bark brim must be turned of fresh wood. The surface is then treated with linseed oil.
I acquired my wood turning education, among other things, at the handicraft centre of Sätergläntan in the district of Dalarna.
